There are events in life that can have a significant impact your perspective. For me, that event was my second battle with cancer.
When I was first diagnosed, my brother Danny started a blog on our company blog site. I was amazed in how useful this form of communication was for me and others (family, friends, co-workers, and others searching for answers with their cancer diagnosis). I have decided to archive this content here as a resource for those who are looking for information on stem cell treatments. For me, finding personal blogs on people’s cancer journey was a way to lessen the anxiety of fighting cancer. Especially if the diagnosis and treatment is similiar to your own treatment or the treatment of someone you care about.
After passing my one year milestone from my stem cell treament, I wanted to start a new blog to continue to share with others. This blog is starting with the following categories:
- Personal Journey – Family and personal experiences.
- Agile/Consulting (Agile Methods/ Consulting Practices) – I have a deep passion for serving clients in way that gives them choices that allow them to succeed. I will share this passion through my experiences and experiences of other with effective Agile Methods and Consulting Practices.
- Company Culture – I also have a deep passion for serving people that work at ThreeWill. At ThreeWill, we bring in our Christian beliefs, previous company experiences (like my work at W.L. Gore and Associates), and our personal missions in life to make ThreeWill a place that we all want to come to work.
This is my personal blog. If you are interested in seeing more technical posts from me, check out our company wiki at http://wiki.threewill.com.

Hello brother,
It is evening as I write this. This morning I prowled around your blog a bit and peeked at your company web page. I didn’t have time to write you a note then…so I am back.
By way of intro, I too am a CA survivor, not as difficult as what you have faced. Recently, including several times yesterday,I have been talking with a loooong time friend while she struggles through treatments, and then last night another friend, a survivor of 20 years duration, called to talk to me of medical issues of reoccurance for someone else…and suddenly I was gloomy.
This morn I noticed you had begun following one of my blogs and I came to pay you a visit and noticed with dismay “that thread” reappearing in your life and hence in my mind and heart…BUT…in faith I read on and was so sweetly encourged by your purpose and the spirit of overcoming. We only have grace for a trouble in the very day of it…I “know” this…but in my weariness last night I sinned the “that which is not of faith” sin. You helped bring me to conviction and repentence. Bless you.
